Fleur de Sel is a photographic project documenting a middle-aged woman's private life. Photographed over several months, she opened her doors to reveal things unintended for public viewing. Curtain tiebacks, a shower cap and precious memorabilia act as signifiers of one's identity. Whilst a home offers a sense of comfort, it is the seemingly inconsequential objects that remind us of the episodes of our lives and our permanence in this world.
Fleur de Sel refers to the purest form of salt you can get, so pure that supposedly, there is no bitterness
